Summary: Nao received some coffee beans and wishes to enjoy it with his new Gundam models. Anyone is free to join him.
Warnings: None
Nao walked into the cooking classrooms, finding them empty to his relief. It was near lunchtime and he had only one thing on his mind. Coffee.. Real meals weren't as great as enjoying a nice cup of steaming coffee. The break he took from Red Crayon allowed him to visit his holy land, Starbucks. He had been spoiled with it's beverages and when it was time for him to return, his band members were thoughtful enough to send him off with some presents. Nao set his large black bag down at the table, peering inside at all of his loot.
While away, he also had a chance to visit his other holy land Akihabara. He bought many Gundam models, especially from his favorite series Seed. Now was the perfect time to sit and build them. He pulled out a 1/100 AEGIS model, setting it down on the table for later. First, he must fix himself a drink. Nao pulled out a bag of House Blend Starbucks coffee beans, moving towards the coffee grinder and maker located on the counter. He immediately set on fixing his coffee.

Except they were not at home anymore, this place was definitely differnet from home.
He'd kept the dogs in his room for now, all three seeming to be quite comfortable with the whole affair but at the moment, the German was uneasy- the school was awfully laid back for what it appeared to be, and defiantly laid back compared to home... It still felt like he was on vacation. He needed to make himself feel at home and there was always one way to do that... To cook something homely within it.
Sadly he didn't have any wurst right now- there was food in the kitchen and it seemed a little pointless to go and buy unnecessary provisions- he'd already checked to see what the fridges in the cooking department held through the Academy's food order sheets- he could easily make something from what was already stocked.
He looked around as he entered the room, noting the additional person. Giving a quick nod and grunt of recognition to himself he took a step forward, removing his cap in greeting to the other.
"Good afternoon."
Following the smells of food and coffee he eventually found his way to the cooking classrooms, seeing both men and... a Gundam model??? A beautifully packaged model freshly bought... Yeah Gundam wasn't as good as the Giant Glastonbury in terms of giant robots but someone had a big enough taste for Gundam's to buy the model? Maybe not everyone would turn out too bad here...
He approached the two, grabbing the model off the table and holding close to him to get a good look.
"You got a good style man, Seed was great." he said openly to either one, who ever ended up being the owner. "I had such a crush on that little hottie Cagalli. The things you can find on the net of those anime girls! Wooo!"
The other... surprised him. Someone else was into Gundam? It seemed odd that someone would like it in such an academy. He smiled brightly, moving away from his brewing coffee and towards the table. "Yeah!! Seed is the best!" Nao laughed, remembering the fights he would get into with Saga when they debated if Wing or Seed was better. "Ehhh?... Little hottie huh?" Nao chuckled slightly with a small blush as he looked away. He forgot how open people could be about such things.
"I have more models in my bag. You can build one if you want. Oh, my name is Nao! What about you guys?"
Nao was stylish, one of the few things Travis had respect for. Even if someone was full of crap, a bit of badassery in their wardrobe and a love of anime collectables was enough to keep him interested.
"Sounds good but I'm starvin'. Gonna grab some food first. The names Travis, by the way, Travis Touchdown."
He walked off to grab something to eat but kept an ear out to hear the two talk and answer back if needed.
Pulling away from his train of thought, he opened the cupboards, looking for potatoes- he knew they had them, the stock-list had stated so. He moved further to one side as the more outlandish individual made his way over to the prep area, checking the cupboard by his legs and finally finding the ingredient he was looking for.
Now where was the grater? This was why he he hated cooking in other peoples kitchens...
He searched the drawers, finding a knife and the grater after a few more minutes of searching, now finally ready to start preparing something to eat. He was quiet as he did so, a slight grunt escaping his lips as he halved the potatoes- he was going to sharpen this knife once he washed it, its blade was a travesty.
"Hey.. and uh... What's your name?" He asked him, trying to be as friendly as possible. Nao hoped he wasn't bothering the silent company but the curiosity got the better of him. He also wanted to make more friends, seeing as he hardly knew anyone in the academy. Maybe this man was simply shy. "I promise I'm not a bad guy." Nao said with a dorky laugh, turning towards his coffee to check on it. He was anxious for some of that hot beverage, hoping it would sustain his new craving for ramen.
Gah sorry for not replying to this sooner ; A ;
"Hmm?" He'd been putting the knife he was using by the sink to wash it once he had finished his business in the kitchen when the other spoke to him. As much as he would have liked to have gone about his business uninterrupted, he decided against it- it would have been rude to ignore the other, especially as he was going out of his way to strike up a conversation with the german, even Ludwig could see that.
"My name ist Ludvig." He peeled his gloves off and carried on with grating the vegetable halves in front of him, his eyes darting back from the other to what he was doing, making sure not to catch himself... He wasn't prepping any more than he needed to just because he was being careless. He looked to the other quizzically as he watched the other male kept checking on his own concotion- it actually smelt really rather good.
"Vhat coffee is zhat?" He had to ask, as it had a different smell to the coffee served in the cafeteria- it had a far richer smell, and he was cetain some flavourings had been added... And he was now tempted to get some of his own when he was next able to.
He could wait, but he'd definitely make sure it was on his shopping list next time he needed to get things
"......Okay."
His angry face softens a little as he sighs, but it quickly goes away as he starts pounding the mochi. He wished he had a mallet at the moment...this would go quicker and easier. But then again he'd probably take the opportunity to take a whack at Nao.
"....I haven't been able to make any friends yet." Which was true, he tried his best to open up but he always got embarrassed and ended up running away.
"You haven't?" Nao placed the napkin down, looking at Shuujin with a bit of concern. Though he really had no reason to speak, seeing as he was in the same boat. Lonely guys like him never really spoke up much. "Well I guess I'm the same. We really do need to stick together haha."
"I guess you could say that I'm not really a people person, or that I'm just a fail at forming friendships."
"After all, we're friends right? I'm sure you'll make more soon. Hmm..." Nao examined him for a moment before opening his mouth to speak. "Maybe you just need to smile more. It's really cute haha it'll make people want to be friends with you!"
"Smiling, you say? I suppse....I mean, smiling is good...you know because it means you're not sad or anything."
